  1. Mastermold got sucked into the seige perilous but nimrod found a part of mastermold or something. He was working at a building site a guy for some reason. Not sure if its the same one or the nimrod thing happens earlier. Just remember it. I had all those comics till 2 years ago

  2. I wished they finished that magneto story the went with xorn in new avengers where it ends with hill reading something written by magneto. Its the story where alpha flight gets killed except for puck i believe. The collective or something i think

  3. When they were trying to replace the X-men with Inhumans. . . i believe this was when Disney thought they could not reacquire the X-men rights and decided to torch the brand for awhile???

  4. The X Men finding out the Prof. had intentionally enslaved the Shiar AI; Danger (Room), made the team look at him a lot differently around that time as well. In “Astonishing”.

  5. Dude its really sad what has become of you!
Back in teh days you always resumed a SToryline how it was!
Nothing against opinions but most of yours are utter nonsense, like Blue Marvel being relevant in any way or how you overrate Hickmann!
His X Men Run is easy the worst I have read from Marvel in 40 years!
You always have this little hits towards stuff you dislike, like for example “Who cares for Alpha Flight?” or “Who cares for the Inhumans”?
Answer: FAR more people than care for Blue Marvel amd Black Panther for sure!

  6. Cyclops got stronger when he was unhinged. Typical villain trope.
And Magneto got weaker (brought back down a notch) when he has a conscience.

  7. Scott Summers is the Marvel character that has had the most comics written about his character after which no one still cares about the character. No one. It’s the biggest waste in Marvel comics. Try to even think of a long-lasting Scott Summers comic, and the idea would just be laughable. After all the words, all the ink, there’s still nothing there for the character.

  8. I didn’t like it, because it got a to a point where the stories would shift so fast and there was no real ramifications for each story. Prime example, The X-Men V Avengers. I could’ve written a better story in my sleep. The fact that Steve Rogers, who had fought alongside the X-Men, was never held accountable as a character for turning a blind eye to all the X-Men suffered was never explored. Cyclops basically says that it’s on because you disagree was not enough exposition. That whole thing was what killed my interest in Marvel at that time. I still have those comics…and I’m still disappointed… So I think you missed this whole point. I still love your channel and have been a subscriber for better than 5 years….time flies.

  9. The thing is, Cyclops has been written as a bad person since the 1980’s. Remember this is a guy who hooked up with a chick cause she looked like his dead wife and even thought she was a clone or something, wanted to abandon his duties as a father (literally as soon as his child was born) to play super hero when he wasn’t wanted or needed, jumped at the first chance to hang out with his old buddies an ex-fiancé (now alive) and literally does abandon his wife and newborn son to do so. He then tries to play the victim during Inferno and doesn’t really suffer any repercussions until his child is infected and sent into the future (which doesn’t matter to him honestly cause he tried to abandon that child twice, with one time actually being successful) and then proceeds to get seduced to be a woman who is literally teasing his girlfriend with the fact she will steal him and he does nothing about it. His quick fix solution is to get married. He then has a psychic affair with his wife’s worst enemy in which she is dressed in the outfit that said wife murdered millions and also died in. As soon as she dies he hooks up with said worst enemy despite his wifes body not even being cold yet. Now I will say Cyclops from 2005-2011 is actually written as a flawed, stop at nothing leader who largely felt justified in his actions, with the mutant world being the way it was…..until he undid all the therapy X-23 had by making her part of X-Force and then using child soldiers in a fight even the X-Men were losing (basically sending them out to slaughter). Cyclops has been largely a piece of shit and it wasn’t until Marvel actually acknowledged those flaws that he became a good character and X-Men comics started to flourish again (not saying that was the main reason btw but it helped). Ever since he has been resurrected however its back to douchebag gets his own way over and over again
